Taiwan gov’t, group, donate over P10M for PH response after typhoons

MANILA, Philippines — The Taiwanese government and the Taiwan Association Inc. has made a combined donation of over P10 million to the Philippine government to help them respond to the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Ulysses.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) said that they have transferred in behalf of the Taiwanese government US$200,000 on Friday, as a humanitarian assistance for the victims of the recent typhoons that caused destruction and massive flooding in parts of Luzon.
