LUCENA CITY —- Health authorities in Quezon province recorded nine more deaths related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In its 5 p.m. bulletin on Tuesday, Nov. 24, the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) disclosed that seven validated COVID-19 patients — three each in the towns of Lopez and Candelaria, and one in Lucena City – were the latest listed fatalities.
The record was the province’s highest single-day tally among fatalities of the dreaded respiratory disease since the pandemic broke out in early March.
No details on the fatalities were given.
