NDRRMC: P10 billion infra, agri damage due to Typhoon Ulysses

MANILA, Philippines — Typhoon Ulysses’ damage to infrastructure and agriculture has reached an estimated P10 billion, based on the latest assessment of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Thursday.

NDRRMC spokesperson Peter Galvez said the agricultural impact of the recent typhoon now costs P4 billion, while the infrastructure damage was placed at P6.1 billion.

Ulysses had left a trail of death and destruction over parts of Luzon, with over 70 dead and almost half a million people displaced from their homes.
