A hit-and-run suspect got hit by another car after he tried to escape from authorities in the city of Las Vegas in Nevada, USA.
The said suspect, whose name was withheld, initially fled but was caught by police near the scene, as per CBS affiliate KLAS-TV earlier today, Nov. 17.
During the investigation, he apparently broke out of his handcuffs and ran into traffic lanes where he got struck by an oncoming car.
The suspect received life-threatening injuries and was brought to Sunrise Hospital, according to the report.
