Construction firm says P109-B offer to upgrade Naia remains alive

MANILA, Philippines—The construction firm seeking to upgrade and operate the country’s main gateway Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on Monday (Nov. 23) said its P109-billion proposal remained active.

Megawide Construction Corp., a construction and infrastructure company that operates the Mactan Cebu International Airport with partner GMR Infrastructure of India, issued the statement to clarify reports that its offer had been rejected.

Megawide said this was misleading.
