Conan O’Brien to move to HBO Max, ending late-night show next year

Conan O’Brien will finally be leaving the late-night talk show scene after around 28 years as he is set to start a new show via streaming.

The iconic host’s TBS talk show titled “Conan” is set to end in June 2021, WarnerMedia announced as per Varietylast Tuesday, Nov. 17. The show had an almost 11-year run on the network.

O’Brien has meanwhile signed to star in a new weekly variety series with streaming platform HBO Max, although the premiere date has not been announced yet.

The host’s travel specials, titled “Conan Without Borders,” will meanwhile continue airing on TBS, according to the report.
