Amihan brings partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains in N. Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on Tuesday due to the northeast monsoon or amihan, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

In a weather forecast issued by Pagasa at 4 a.m., weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon while the easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are affecting the weather in the rest of the country.
