MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Taguig on Monday clarified that the Delta variant case, which its COVID-19 task force earlier reported, did not set foot in the city until he was fully recovered in an isolation facility outside the city.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the Taguig local government unit said the Delta variant case was detected from a returning overseas Filipino worker (OFW) as early as May and was an isolated case.
