LUCENA CITY —- Police arrested two suspected peddlers of “shabu” (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations here early Tuesday and Monday, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, in a report said anti-narcotics operatives collared Fernando Atienza, 58, after he sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay Market View at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities seized six plastic sachets of shabu worth P20,190 in the street market.
Earlier, a police team nabbed Mark Joseph Campomanes, 37, in another drug sting operation in Barangay Ilayang Iyam at 10:50 p.m. on Monday.
