SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—-At least 206 patients in the province have recovered from COVID-19, an official said Thursday, July 1.
Most of the recoveries were registered inside the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy in San Narciso town, where 174 cases had been cleared of the disease, said Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, in a statement.
It was the highest single-day record of patients who were healed from the viral disease.
They are among the 325 PMMA cadets and employees infected with the virus after an outbreak last May.
Data showed that only 31 cases remained active at the PMMA.
