A woman who drove over a salon manager in Nevada, United States two years ago over a $35 (around P1,600) bill dispute has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Krystal Whipple has been facing numerous charges since December 2018, when she fled a Las Vegas salon without paying and killed the 53-year old manager Nhu “Annie” Nguyen, as per CBS affiliate KLAS-TV on Dec. 4.
After the plea deal, Whipple is now facing a 10 to 25-year prison sentence. She is set to be sentenced on Feb. 21 next year.
