MANILA, Philippines — Activists from an animal rights group on Thursday urged everyone to stop the exploitation and oppression of animals that are used for food, clothing, entertainment, and research.
In celebration of International Animal Rights Day, activists displayed bannersat the footbridge of Philcoa in Quezon City that read “End Speciesism,” “Go Vegan” and “Animal Liberation.”
They also encouraged everyone to practice veganism — a cruelty-free lifestyle that avoids the consumption and use of any animal-based products.
