Warm weather to persist while amihan recurs in Northern and Central Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean will continue to bring the heat in many parts of the country as Northern and Central Luzon will again feel the northeast monsoon or amihan starting Tuesday.

The latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued Monday afternoon showed there are also chances of isolated thunderstorms as the easterlies blow mostly over the eastern portions of the country.
