A wanted man turned himself over to the police so he could get “peace and quiet” as he had been fed up with the people he lived with in his pandemic-induced lockdown in England, United Kingdom.
The fugitive, whose identity was withheld, called Sussex Police himself because he would prefer being locked up rather than continue living in his home, Inspector Darren Taylor reported on Twitter yesterday, Feb. 18.
“Peace and quiet! Wanted male handed himself in to the team yesterday afternoon after informing us he would rather go back to prison than have to spend more time with the people he was living with!” he said.
