“Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim,” one of the official entries to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, is easily Vhong Navarro’s most important film to date.
“Para sa akin, itong part two ng Mang Kepweng, isang privilege kasi ito ang kauna-unahang pelikula ko na nagkaroon ng part two,” Navarro said during the movie’s online conference yesterday, Dec. 8.
(For me, this part two of Mang Kepweng is a privilege because it is my first movie which got a part two.)
From the success of its predecessor “Mang Kepweng Returns” in 2017, Navarro reprises his quack doctor role, which was once played by ace comedian Chiquito.
