USAID turns over 9 laptops in Bohol for distant learning programs

TAGBILARAN CITY—The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) donated nine new laptop computers to the Department of Education (DepEd) in this city on Friday (March 12).

 

Eight laptops were given to teachers and one laptop to the Division Alternative Learning System (ALS) Focal.

 

The distribution of laptops is part of Opportunity 2.0, a USAID program to help up to 180,000 youths in the Philippines. The program supports training for mentors in ALS programs in improving learning modules for out-of-school youth.
