MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Dante left the country with 11 dead, two missing and three injured, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Agency (NDRRMC) in its report Sunday said.
The casualties are all from MIMAROPA and regions of Davao and SOCCSKSARGEN.
MIMAROPA consists of Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan, while SOCCSKSARGEN refers to South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos.
A total of 29,117 families or 122,042 people were affected in 462 villages nationwide.
Some 241 families are still staying in evacuation centers.
