Tropical Depression Fabian maintains strength, landfall still unlikely — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Fabian maintained its strength and did not show any potential diversion from its forecast track, the latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) showed.

Pagasa said on Friday night that Fabian was last seen 1,395 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers (kph) per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 55 kph.

It is moving northward at a speed of 15 kph.
