MANILA, Philippines — The tail-end of a frontal system that was previously causing rains in the eastern section of Northern Luzon is now affecting the weather in the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday.
Based on the weather forecast issued by Pagasa at 4 a.m., Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a frontal system, or a weather system that forms due to the interaction of the cold northeast monsoon and warm easterly winds.
