LUCENA CITY — Ten barangay workers, two other government employees and six others in Tagaytay City recently tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
The city government reported on social media last Friday that two of the new patients are them children age 3 and 4 and three senior citizens aged 66, 63 and 60.
Last week, Mayor Agnes Tolentino issued Executive Order 355 demanding the closure of all tourism related business establishments in the city every Monday starting Feb. 1 for disinfection purposes to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
