CEBU CITY — At least 76 houses were washed away by strong waves in Lapu-Lapu City on Friday night even though Tropical Depression Vicky did not make landfall in the Visayas.
According to Lapu-Lapu City’s disaster management office, some 291 individuals fromcoastal Barangay Ibo on Mactan Island were affected and were brought to the nearby Ibo Elementary School.
No casualties were reported.
