MANILA, Philippines — Senate President Vicente Sotto III on Monday blasted the continued mandatory use of face shields as recommended by health experts to President Rodrigo Duterte, saying that the move reflected the government’s pandemic response.
“So called health experts daw say[s] face shields will remain, everywhere! Now I know why the [h]andling of the pandemic is not good!” Sotto said in a tweet Monday night.
