MANILA, Philippines — At least seven local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila have either suspended their first dose vaccination for COVID-19 or have limited their vaccination scope due to the depleting stock of anti-coronavirus shots.
The LGUs posted separate announcements on their respective social media pages saying the national government has yet to deliver more vaccines to their localities.
Paraaque City
In Paraaque City, for instance, first dose vaccinations are temporarily suspended until the next arrival of vaccines. Meanwhile, all vaccination for second doses will proceed as scheduled.
