Remains of soldier in Sulu air crash flown home to Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The body of one of the soldiers killed in a C-130 plane crash in Patikul, Sulu recently was flown Wednesday morning to his hometown in Iba, the capital of Zambales.

 

The grieving family and relatives of Technical Sgt. Mark Anthony Agana of the Philippine Air Force received his remains at their home in Barangay San Agustin for his wake.

 

A resolution was passed by the village council to express its “deep sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family” of Agana.

 

The village officials said the death of Agana was a “great loss not only to his immediate family and friends, but to everyone who came to know him.”
