CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental, Philippines — The remains of Bayan Muna Rep. Eufemia Cullamat’s daughter, Jevilyn, who was killed in a clash with soldiers and communist New People’s Army (NPA) rebels in Marihatag town, Surigao del Sur, have already been claimed by her family.

According to Brig. Gen. Allan Hambala, commander of the Army’s 401st Infantry Brigade, soldiers brought Jevilyn’s body to Barangay Mararag in Marihatag town.

Her brother and some relatives claimed the body, Hambala added.
