MANILA, Philippines — Rains experienced over the northern and eastern portion of Luzon are expected to continue on Tuesday as state meteorologists note that the northeast monsoon and the tail end of a frontal system continue to persist.
Weather reports from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Monday afternoon showed that the northeast monsoon or amihan still carries winds over the extreme northern Luzon area, causing cold weather and occasional rains.
Cloudy skies are also seen to prevail over Cagayan Valley and eastern parts of central and southern Luzon as the tail end of a frontal system is sill active.
