Quezon province records only 2 COVID-19 cases

LUCENA CITY — Only two new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were recorded in Quezon province on Saturday, the lowest daily tally since the pandemic broke out in March.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin on December 26, the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) disclosed that the two latest cases are from the town of Pagbilao and this city.
The IPHO report also revealed the continuous decline of active COVID-19 cases in the province that now drops to 391.
From 1,119 active cases on Nov. 12, it fell to 760 by the end of November.
The death toll jumped to 181 with the deaths of three patients from Lucena City, Pagbilao and San Antonio towns.
