LUCENA CITY —- Two more coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients in Quezon province died on the first day of December, authorities reported.
The Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) in its COVID-19 update for Dec. 1, said two validated virus carriers died in Catanauan town in the province’s Bondoc Peninsula district.
No other details were given on the latest fatalities.
The COVID-19 death toll in Quezon now stood at 163, with 53 deaths recorded last month and another 42 in October.
However, the IPHO also reported a rise in recovered patients on Tuesday at 71, with only 48 new cases.
