LUCENA CITY — The Quezon provincial police force is continuing its investigation and pursuit of the suspects and perpetrators behind the fatal shooting of former Pagbilao mayor Romeo Portes, who died more than a week after he was shot.
Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon provincial police chief, said follow-up investigations are being carried out by the Special Investigation Task Group (SITG)-Portes.
“Several witnesses executed their affidavits voluntarily to help shed light and solve the crime,” he said in a statement on Saturday.
