MANILA, Philippines — Community frontliners were the first to get inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine as the vaccination program rolled out in Quezon City’s sixth district.
The vaccination happened at Placido Del Mundo Elementary School on March 22 where members of the Barangay Health Emergency Emergency Response Team (BHERT), barangay health workers (BHWs), and personnel and contact tracers of the Quezon City Health Department (QCDH) received their COVID-19 shots.
According to the QCDH, the city targets to inoculate at least 6,000 frontliners who are among the priority list of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
