MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has set up 61 quarantine control points (QCPs) in Metro Manila and four nearby provinces to restrict the authorized travel to and from the NCR Plus bubble during the implementation of general community quarantine (GCQ), Gen. Debold Sinas, the PNP, told President Rodrigo Duterte during a pre-recorded televised briefing on Wednesday.
The QCPs are distributed as follows: nine in Metro Manila, 27 in Bulacan, 19 in Laguna, four in Cavite, and two in Rizal.
A total of 3,652 personnel are deployed in these QCPs.
