MANILA, Philippines — A police officer detailed at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation Group based in Clark Field, Pampanga was shot dead in Tarlac on Tuesday.
The victim asPSSgt Michael Maun, a resident of Barangay Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac. Maun sustained several gunshot wounds in the body.
Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director Gen. Valeriano De Leon has already given orders to local Tarlac police to conduct a thorough investigation and deeper probe on the murder of Maun.
Initial investigations revealed that the victim was on his way home onboard his Toyota Altis when another black Toyota Altis suddenly overtook him.
