MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported 105 new COVID-19 deaths Sunday, bringing the country’s death toll to 25,921.
The total number of deaths is 1.76 percent of all cases, according to the DOH.
The DOH also reported 5,916 new COVID-19 cases to bring the country’s caseload to 1,473,025.
Of the total, 49,701 or 3.4 percent were tagged as “active cases,” with patients having mild or no symptoms at 94.4 percent.
There are also 6,127 reported recoveries to bring the number of COVID-19 recoveries to 1,397,403 or 94.9 percent of all cases.
