MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) logged additional 7,485 COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
This brought the country’s total confirmed cases to 1,293,687, of which 4.4 percent, or 56,921, remain active infections.
The DOH also reported 4,504 additional recoveries, raising the number of patients who have recovered to 1,214,454. Recoveries represent 93.9 percent of all cases.
Meanwhile, another 122 patients have died, putting the death count to 22,312, or 1.72 percent of the tally.
The DOH said 12.8 percent of all the 51,688 people who were tested for COVID-19 tested positive last Tuesday.
