MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has administered 700,000 COVID-19 vaccines in two days, making it the highest number of vaccinations so far achieved in the country since its rollout began in March, National Task Force against COVID-19 deputy chief implementer Vince Dizon said Friday.
In a televised briefing, Dizon said the country managed to administer 350,000 jabs nationwide for two consecutive days — on June 23 and 24.
“Actually kahapon, Thursday, pangalawang araw natin straight na umabot ng 350,000 mahigit ng ating vaccination in one day,” Dizon said.
