MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines is set to host the 2021 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Asian Senior Women’s Championship from August 27 to September 5 at Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
This will be the third time that the country will be hosting the tournament after staging the competition in 1997 in Manila and in 2017 in Laguna.
The Philippine National Volleyball Federation is expecting 14 to 16 teams for the tournament.
“We are hosting, it’s 99%, the Asian Senior Women’s Championship in Clark,” said PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara in a virtual press conference Wednesday.
