MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has administered more than 4 million COVID-19 vaccines, placing the country in 37th place worldwide in terms of vaccination, the National Taskforce (NTF) Against COVID-19 announced on Sunday.
The NTF said there are 4,097,425 administered vaccine doses. Of the total, 3,147,786 are for the first dose, while 949,939 are for the second dose.
The task force, citing a Bloomberg report, also noted that the country also ranked second out of 10 Southeast Asian countries, 13th out of 47 countries in Asia, and 37th out of 196 countries worldwide in terms of the number of vaccinations.
