MANILA, Philippines — Senator Francis Pangilinan on Tuesday said he is eyeing reelection to the Senate in the upcoming elections in 2022.
“That’s the plan,” Pangilinan told reporters in an online interview when asked if he will be running for the Senate again in 2022.
“I have one more term. I am on the first term of my second—sabihin na nating [let’s say my] second round,” he added.
According to Pangilinan, he wants to continuefinding solutions to the challenges hounding the country’s agriculture and fisheries sector as well as food security.
