ANGELES CITY, Pampanga —- Four people here and in the two nearby component cities of this province died Monday, May 31, due to COVID-19, local health data showed.
A resident of Barangay Sto. Domingo was added to the list of 257 persons who died of the viral disease.
The city registered 12 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 5,874. Of this number, 5,168 had recovered from the disease.
Mabalacat City, which logged zero deaths and zero new cases on Sunday, announced in its May 31 bulletin that a COVID-19 patient from Barangay San Joaquin died, bringing to 61 its number of deaths.
