MANILA, Philippines — Over a million Filipinos have already received their COVID-19 vaccine, Malacaang said Monday.
Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said that as of April 11, there are 1,007,356 individuals already got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while 132,288 people already got their second dose.
This makes the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country at 1,139,644.
Of the total, 965,169 doses were given to healthcare workers, which is the first priority in the government’s COVID-19 vaccination program followed by senior citizens and persons with comorbidities.
