MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area (LPA) off Mindanao may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) within the next 24 to 48 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
In a livestreamed 4 a.m. weather forecast, Pagasa weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the LPA was last spotted 1,590 east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, will not yet affect the country’s weather.
