MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area (LPA) approaching the country will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said Thursday.
The LPA was last spotted 465 kilometers east of General Santos City, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The weather bureau earlier said the weather disturbance is not likely to develop into a tropical cyclone.
