MANILA, Philippines — The government should now focus on its efforts to deal with the COVID-19 Delta variant, Senator Manny Pacquiao said Saturday after his ouster as president of the ruling Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) party.
“Nakakalungkot na nakapasok na ang Delta variant sa Pilipinas at kapag hindi maagapan, marami ang maaaring mahawa. Ito dapat ang prioridad ng ating gobyerno,” Pacquiao said in a Viber message to reporters.
