P1.2-M marijuana bricks, gun seized in Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — Police, and anti-drug agents seized P1.2-million worth of marijuana bricks, a gun, and five bullets from four people, including a minor, who were arrested in Quezon town in Isabela province on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Andree Michelle Camhol-Abella, Cagayan Valley regional police spokesperson, identified the arrested men as Jerwin Lipalam, 24, resident of Tondo, Manila; car driver Jayson Pallares, 23, from Caloocan City; back-up driver Alvin Guiyab, 20, of San Mariano, Isabela; and a 17-year-old boy with his live-in partner from Tondo in Manila.

They were arrested in Barangay (village) Alunan at 2:10 p.m.
