MANILA, Philippines — More than 110 Filipino caregivers will soon be deployed to Israel, according to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday.
This announcement comes a day after DOLE said it has lifted the deployment ban on the Middle Eastern country.
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said in a statement that the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration received a total of 208 caregiver contracts for Israel and that work visas of the 23 caregivers were already filed while the applications of 90 others are ready for filling this week.
