Occidental Mindoro Provincial Hospital reopens after localized lockdown

CITY OF CALAPAN —- The Occidental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (OMPH) in Mamburao town reopened on Monday after being on lockdown since March 11 due to a surge in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

In a Facebook post, the hospital management announced that the emergency room reopened for medical, surgical, and obstetrical emergencies with the slogan “Balik Serbisyo para sa Mamamayang Mindoreno.”

“We remain to be COVID-19-accepting hospital for moderate to severe suspected and confirmed cases,” said the OMPH management.

While Occidental Mindoro is still under modified enhanced community quarantine, outpatient and dental services are still unavailable.
