MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno S. Aquino III “comes home” Friday to the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) where a public viewing of his cremated remains will be held.
Following arrival honors for Aquino, the public will be given the chance to pay their last respects to the former statesman from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at ADMU’s Church of the Gesu.
A prayer vigil will also be held at 4 p.m. as well as a Mass at 5 p.m.
According to astatementfrom ADMU, the public “will be allowed to walk in front of the urn to pay respects and say a prayer for PNoy for a few seconds.”
