BACOLOD CITY — Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has signed an executive order imposing stringent measures to curb the surge in COVID-19 cases in the province starting Tuesday, June 15.

The order sets stricter border controls with Negros Oriental from June 15 to 30. All non-essential travel of persons originating from Negros Oriental will not be allowed into Negros Occidental during that period.

Regulated entry of Mabinay residents to Kabankalan City, Basay residents to Hinoba-an, and Canlaon City and Vallehermoso residents to San Carlos City will be allowed.
