BAGUIO CITY —- A lad from Negros Occidental has topped this year’s graduating class of the Philippine Military Academy, PMA officials announced in a virtual news conference Monday, May 3.
Cadet First Class Janrey Cabanero Artus, the 25-year-old valedictorian of PMA Masaligan Class of 2021, is also graduating as summa cum laude.
Born in San Enrique town, Artus was completing a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering when he passed the PMA entrance examination.
Cadet First Class Daryl Brix Ramos Colita ranked second in the top ten list. The 22-year-old native of Malalag town in Davao del Sur was enrolled in BS mine engineering when he joined the premier military school.
