MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring cold weather and light rains over a vast portion of the country, especially in North Luzon and eastern parts of the country like the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
Weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) indicated that amihan’s surge remains prevalent and might not slow down anytime soon.
From Tuesday night to Wednesday, light rains can be expected in the above-mentioned regions plus Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Kalinga, Apayao, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon.
